Work: Foundation works for the installation of protective shelters at Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples (Design & Build project) Sub-contractors for Canobbio Spa.
Location: Archaeological sites at Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Prehistoric Temples.
Foundation works for these shelters consisted of construction of piles and pile caps to act as foundations for the arches. Micro piles were installed to act as anchor to the lightweight covering structure. GEWI piles Dywidag geotechnical systems were employed for these anchors. Special equipment was used for their installation and testing.
